Driving ban
A MONEYREA man was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for a year following an incident on the Saintfield Road, on November 26, 2012.
William Rea (68) from Church Lodge was coming home from Lisburn, overtaking a number of vehicles near a left sweeping bend, when he was stopped by the police.
His solicitor said that he had been stuck behind a lorry for over a mile and a half and was anxious to overtake him.
He said that he had a 50 year unblemished driving record and had never been in court before.
