Drug accused has case adjourned
A man who was subject to a paramilitary attack last month was released on bail when he appeared in court accused of drugs offences.
Gerald Patrick Lavy (30), of Ballymagowan Avenue, is charged with being concerned in the supply of class A, class B and class C drugs between February and March, 2014.
A defence barrister applied for the case to be adjourned saying that his client was very heavily medicated following what he called a serious physical assault.
The 30-year-old was released on continuing bail to appear in court again on April 29.
