Drug offender appears in court
A man who was the victim of a so-called punishment beating admitted being concerned in an offer to supply a class A drug, Oxycodone, when he appeared before Londonderry Crown Court.
He was Gerald Patrick Lavy (30), of Ballymagowan Avenue and he also admitted charges of being concerned in an offer to supply amphetamine and diazepam.
The Crown Court was told that the offences had been committed sometime between February and March, last year.
The defendant was remanded in custody to appear before the court again on August 27.
