Drugs find

Following planned searches yesterday evening in the Kilfennan area of Waterside, Londonderry, Police seized a substantial quantity of suspected cocaine at an estimated value of £10,000. The items have been sent for forensic examination.

Detective Chief Inspector, Mark McClarence said, “Last week we seized £800,000 worth of drugs and £5,000 worth of drugs in separate seizures. This week we have recovered a substantial quantity of drugs believed to be cocaine. This clearly shows our determination and commitment to tackle the issue of drugs and keep our communities safer.”
