Drugs seized
POLICE in Lurgan arrested a 29 year old man following the seizure of a quantity of suspected Class A drugs.
Shortly before 2pm on Friday, March 30, police stopped a Rover car in the Derry Street area.
A male passenger ran off and discarded a bag into a nearby hedge row. Police recovered the bag which contained 50 suspected Ecstasy tablets. The man was subsequently arrested for possession of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
He was later released pending report to the PPS.
