Duo deny assault allegations
Two 36-year-old Cookstown men appeared at East Tyrone Magistrate's Court on Wednesday charged with assault.
Phillip Harpur from Corkill Road at Wellbrook and David Thomas Nelson Turkington from Terrywinny Lane in Kildress both pleaded not guilty to assaulting two males on March 20.
District Judge John Meehan adjourned both cases until December 7 to fix a date for the defendants to contest the allegations.
Mr Jarlath Faloon appeared in court on the behalf of Mr Turkington.
