Eglinton man stole from his employer
An Eglinton man has appeared in court in Londonderry charged with theft.
Jason Craig, of Craigbrack Road in the village, pleaded guilty to stealing over £10,000 from his employers, the court heard.
The prosecution said that the defendant had admitted committing the theft through fraud and by abuse of his position within the company.
They said the 42-year-old stole £10,402.79 from DFS Furniture Company Ltd between June 2013 and June 2014.
Sentencing was adjourned and Craig was released on continuing bail until June 1.
