Fined £100 for obstruction

A CRAIGAVON man was fined £100 last Friday at the local magistrates court for disorderly behaviour on June 11.

Twenty two year old Patrick Brian McKerr, Clanrolla Park, Craigavon, was also fined £100 for obstructing the police.

As well McKerr was ordered to pay an offender’s levy of £15.

The court heard police went to a disturbance at Derrymacash. The defendant was arrested and obstructed police by giving false details, He lashed out and had to be restrained and he was verbally abusive.

His lawyer said it was an alcohol fuelled incident.
