When released went to a nearby pub where
he caused a
disturbance.

He was lying on the ground and was verbally abusive.

Defence solicitor Eugene Burns said Farren left court and went for a fry. He washed it down with a pint and that was the last thing he remembered.

Suspending a four month sentence for three years, District Judge Peter King said: “If you are in front of me tomorrow having washed down your lunch with a pint you will go to prison”.
