Galgorm Road arson probed

Detectives in Ballymena are appealing for information after a report of arson at residential premises at the Galgorm Road area in the early hours of Friday, 13th July.

At around 3am, a fire was reported to have started at a flat in the area. One person was treated for smoke inhalation as a result of the incident.

At this stage, police believe the fire was started deliberately. Enquiries are continuing.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area overnight to contact Ballymena CID on 0845 600 8000.
