Gates stolen
Police at Strand Road are appealing for information following two separate incidents in which gates were stolen.
Sometime between 8pm on Wednesday, October 24 and 5am on Thursday, October 25, iron gates were stolen from residential premises in the Ardmore Road area.
Another set of iron gates were stolen from a residential premises in the Ardground Road area, sometime between 8.30pm on Thursday, October 25 and 8.20am on Friday, October 26. Both of these gates would require a trailer or lorry to transport them.
If anyone has been offered these gates to buy, police would ask that they be contacted. Also, anyone with any information about these two thefts is asked to contact Strand Road Police Station.
