Handled stolen money, court told
A 40-year-old Cityside man has appeared in court charged with a range of offences, including a charge of handling over €3,000, which was stolen in the Republic of Ireland.
In the dock was Glen Michael Smith, with an address in Bradley Park.
He is further charged with escaping from lawful custody and assaulting police.
The court heard the charges relate to alleged incidents on November 3 and 4.
Smith, who is a sentenced prisoner, was remanded in custody to appear in court again on January 29.
