Homes evacuated in Co Armagh after discovery of suspicious objects

A number of homes in Lurgan have been evacuated after police discovered “suspicious objects” at a house in the area.

A 33-year-old man has also been arrested after the PSNI attended an incident at the property in Woodville Street on Sunday morning.

Chief Inspector Barney O’Connor said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the local people for their patience while we work to keep them safe.
