Jail for sex assault on teenager
A man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl was jailed for a total of eight months when he appeared at Londonderry Magistrates Court.
The 30-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was convicted of sexually assaulting his ex-partner’s 14-year-old sister on August 23, last year.
He was also found guilty of assaulting his ex-partner and a teenage boy on the same night.
He was also sentenced for other offences committed on May 25, last year.
District Judge Barney McElholm also placed the man on the sex offenders’ register.
