Lisburn police seize drugs and cash

Conducting a proactive search on February 10 in the Lisburn area the police District Support Team seized a sizable amount of cash and over a thousand pounds worth of drugs.

A person has been arrested for numerous offences and enquiries are continuing.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Drugs don’t just effect the people using them, they effect the families involved, the surrounding community and our young people.

“To the people dealing it’s another source of money for them and the more money they can make the better no matter what the cost to the other person’s health or future.”
