A prosecuting lawyer said the defendant provided a breath specimen which showed an alcohol reading of 48mgs.

A defence lawyer described it as “not the highest reading” and explained that McNeill had one beer the previous night.

He added that he would probably lose his employment as result of not wanting to let his employer down.
