Made off without paying for tyres

A man who pushed a business owner and made off without paying for two tyres from a garage near Castledawson, was given a three month suspended jail sentence at Magherafelt Court on Wednesday.

Bernard McDonagh (25), of Pinebank Gardens, Dungannon, was also ordered to pay £200 compensation to the injured party. He admitted a charge of common assault and making off without paying on May 18, 2017. Bail was fixed to appeal the sentence.
