Man (28) accused of 'criminal damage incidents' in Magherafelt expected in court

Police investigating a series of criminal damage incidents in Magherafelt have charged a 28-year-old man.

He is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow Thursday, March 23, charged with numerous counts of criminal damage.

As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

It is believed the charges relate to a number of shop windows being damaged in the Rainey Street, Market Square, and Ballyronan Road areas of the town on Sunday night.
