Man (30s) watched and waited for elderly NI woman to withdraw money from ATM before snatching cash and running away

An elderly woman was left shaken when a man in his 30s waited for her to withdraw money from an ATM before snatching the cash and running away.

The incident occurred at the Ulster Bank ATM on Market Street in Lurgan on Thursday at around 10:30am.

The PSNI is appealing to anyone who may have witnesses the theft to contact them.

The man is described as being in his 30s, slim built, wearing a green top and dark tracksuit bottoms.

The man watched and waited for the cash to ATM to dispense the money before snatching the cash and running off.
