Man (34) is arrested after drugs found

A 34-year-old man has been arrested after drugs were found in the Pinebank area of Lurgan yesterday.

Police said they arrested the man on suspicion of drugs offences.

The PSNI was on patrol in the Pinebank area on Wednesday morning, 15 January, when they saw a man running away from them.

“The male was seen to discard a white bottle which was found to contain 1000 blue tablets,” say the PSNI.

He was arrested for possession of Class C drugs and possession of Class C drugs with intent to supply. He was later released on bail.
