Man aged 45 gave police ‘the finger’
A man who gave ‘the finger’ to police after coming out of a bar was fined £100 at Londonderry Magistrates Court and was ordered to pay a Court Levy of £15.
James Columba Harkin (45), from Lettershandonney Avenue, admitted disorderly behaviour at Spencer Road on May 10.
A defence solicitor said Harkin had been drinking and described the episode was “a childish thing, especially for a man of that age”.
