Man arrested after robbery in Lurgan

Police have tasked a helicopter searching for a blue car after a robbery in Lurgan today.

Police in Banbridge said the PSNI sent out the helicopter after a robbery in Lurgan where two men made off in a blue car.

“The car has been stopped by police close to Banbridge and one male has been arrested,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“A second male has made off. He is described as having a swarthy complexion and aged in his 20s.

“ If you notice someone fitting this description, please do not approach them but phone us straight away on 101,” said the spokesperson.
