Man assaulted in Londonderry
Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following an assault that occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning, 18th November.
Between 1.45am and 2.15am, a 28 yr-old man was approached by a group of unknown males on High Street. The victim was then punched a number if times in the face by one of the males in the group. The assailant was wearing a white T-shirt. The victim was treated in hospital for injuries to his face.
Police say the area was busy with people at the time and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact Police on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
