Man faces trial for assaulting woman

Joseph Martin Healy, of Hollymount Park, pleaded not guilty to attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 26-year-old denied a further charge of common assault. Both offences involve the same alleged injured party.

The charges relate to an alleged incident on October 22, last year.

Londonderry Crown Court heard the trial, which has been listed for June 4, is expected to last three to four days.

Healy was remanded in custody and will appear in court again for his trial.
