The court heard that damage was caused to a car at Killough Gardens after the defendant had lost control of a car.

He was searched and a small amount of cannabis was found on him. He said it did not belong to him.

Campbell said that it belonged to a friend.

A blood sample showed that it contained an element of cannabis.

Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said his client had previously received two cautions, one of which was relevant.

He added that Campbell would say that he had taken the cannabis 24 hours previously.

Mr Ingram said this was a very small amount for Campbell’s own personal use.
