Man hit over the head during Lisburn robbery

A MAN has been hit over the head and tied up by a gang of armed robbers in Lisburn.

Detectives are appealing for information after the robbery at residential premises on the Ballinderry Road on Thursday evening.

Shortly after 8.40pm, four masked men entered the premises and demanded money from the male occupant. One of the robbers hit the man over the head and tied him up before they made off with a sum of money.

The man did not require any medical treatment.

All of the raiders were wearing masks and gloves and were dressed in dark clothing.
