Man in court after pensioner is injured
A 26-year-old man, charged with several offences including grievous bodily harm with intent, common assault, robbery, intimidation of a witness and two counts of criminal damage, is to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday, June 18.
Also due in Court is a 22-year-old man who has been charged with several offences including robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of criminal damage. As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
It is understood the charges follow the serious assault and robbery of a 71-year-old man, the serious assault of a 30-year-old man and the assault of a 24 year old man in the Rosemount area of Londonderry on the evening of Monday, June 16.
