Man in court for child pornography

A Strathfoyle man has appeared in court in Londonderry charged in connection with a catalogue of child pornography offences.

In the dock was Paul O’Kane (47), from Clonmeen Drive, Strathfoyle, who admitted a total of 42 child pornography offences that included making and possessing indecent photographs.

The offences were committed between July 2001 and August 2013.

Sentencing was adjourned until October 2 for a probation pre-sentence report and O’Kane was ordered to sign the sex offenders register. He was released on continuing bail.
