Man in court on GBH charge

A 24-year-old man has appeared before Londonderry Magistrates Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

Mark Gill, of Glenside Gardens, was also charged with possessing a kitchen knife, theft of money and criminal damage on October 10.

The defendant spoke only to confirm he understood the charges.

An investigating officer told the court she believed she could connect Gill to the charges.

No bail application was made and Gill was remanded in custody to appear in court again, via videolink, on October 19.
