Man in court on public order charge
A man who was refused alcohol at a local off-licence lay across the doorway to block the entrance, Londonderry Magistrates Court has heard.
Paul Farren (25), of Bayview Terrace is charged with disorderly behaviour, indecent behaviour and being drunk on July 25. It was alleged he was abusive off-licence staff and gestured at them and blocked the door to stop customers getting in.
The court heard he had been released on bail the day and ordered not to consume alcohol.
District Judge Barney McElholm released Farren on bail until later this month.
