Man injured in city centre attack
POLICE at Strand Road are keen to speak once again to witnesses who alerted them to an assault in the city on Saturday night, July 19.
A PSNI spokesman said: “At around 5pm three members of the public flagged down a police patrol and made officers aware of an assault on a woman at Malvern Terrace. On investigating, officers spoke to a woman who had sustained a suspected broken jaw. A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was later released pending further enquiries.”
