Man on attempted murder charge

William Young (29), of Glengiven Park in the town, denied the charge. His is accused of the attempted murder of a man on March 19.

He also denied two further charges of making a threat to kill.

His co-accused, 24-year-old Patrick McDonald, of Sperrin Road, denied attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on the same alleged injured party.

Both men were released on continuing bail until January 28.
