Man released by PSNI after Newtownabbey search

A man (34) has been released from police custody after being arrested yesterday (Monday) following a search operation in the Bawnmore area of Newtownabbey.

Commenting on the operation today (Tuesday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug following a search of a property in the Bawnmore area of Newtownabbey yesterday morning, (January 10).

“The man was released pending further enquiries.”
