Man was disorderly
A man who stole two 12-packs of Carlesberg, worth £19.99 from Winemark on Clooney Terrace, before committing a range of public order offences has appeared at Londonderry Magistrates Court.
Thomas Grimes, 25, of 28 Barnwall Place, was further charged with assaulting Constables Laura Ohlrich and David Steede on March 11 this year, and resisting Laura Ohlrich on the same date, as well as being disorderly at Barnwall Place.
In court Grimes was connected with the charges and nodded his head when asked if he understood the offences when they were put to him.
The case was adjourned until April 2.
