Man’s genitals scorched in ‘prank’, court told

A man was left in excruciating pain after a “prank” involving an aerosol ‘flame-thrower’, a court has heard.

The victim was left with burns to his genitals and buttocks after being sprayed by a flame from an aerosol as he lay unconscious.

Shocking details were outlined as two men appeared at the local Magistrates Court on charges relating to what a PSNI officer described as a “brutal and vicious attack on a defenceless man”.

Alan David McCroary, of Clonavon Road, and William Mark Redmond, of Crebilly Road, are accused of inflicting GBH and possessing an offensive weapon.
