Mid Ulster police describe Transit van as a 'potential fireball'

Mid Ulster PSNI say they have seized a Transit van which they described as a "potential fireball" in Cookstown.

Police said in a social media post the seizure was made at Drum Road yesterday.

"Ringer vehicle on false plates, no insurance and when we rolled back the side door, the back was loaded to the gills with suspected illegal fuel, sloshing about in large pods," the post reads.

A number of uninsured vehicles were also seized during the operation in Cookstown and Dungannon areas.
