Motorist arrested
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following an incident in which a car failed to stop for police near Victoria Bridge.
In the early hours of Saturday, August 17, officers signalled a car to stop at Fyfin Road and an officer had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.
Subsequently, a man from the Castlederg area was arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.
