A PPS lawyer said checks showed there was no insurance for the vehicle and on being stopped at Rainey Street car park, the defendant admitted having no licence.

Naglis, who was not professionally represented, admitted the offences.

Imposing the penalties, Deputy District Judge Noel Dunlop told the defendant that this was his second offence for no insurance.
