Police appeal after digger buckets are stolen in County Tyrone

Police are appealing for information or witnesses the theft of two digger buckets from the Mountjoy Road area of Stewartstown.

Sergeant Delaney said: “It’s reported that the two digger buckets were stolen from a field on the Mountjoy Road at some stage between Monday evening (20 April) and the following afternoon. Both are for a Hitachi digger.

“We are appealing to anyone with information, or who noticed any suspicious activity in this area, to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 716 of 21/04/20.

He continued: “I’m keen to remind landowners to be vigilant at all times. Advice on how to secure your property and belongings is available by contacting your local Crime Prevention Officer on 101.”

Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
