Police appeal after Larne Road link assault

He was later released on bail pending further Police enquiries.

Commenting on the incident Detective Constable Albert Blair said: “At approximately 9.20pm Police received a report that a 25 year old man and a 19 year old woman were assaulted at a carpark on the Larne Road Link, Ballymena.

“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Police on the non emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
