Police appeal as phone is stolen

Police in Banbridge are appealing for information following the theft of a mobile phone in the Berkley Court area.

On Thursday July 28 a white Diva touch phone was taken from the front garden of a house. It was reported that two people, thought to be collecting for a charity, were seen around the area at the time.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them and are particularly keen to speak to the two people who were seen in the area.

They can be phoned on 0845 600 8000. Police would also advise the public to check the identification of all persons who call to your door to ensure they are genuine.
