Police appeal over burglary

At approximately 11.15am three unknown males entered the home of an elderly woman. Two of the intruders put their hand over the occupant’s mouth. The woman was not injured but was left shaken.

Three jewellery boxes were stolen from the premises, one of which contained a silver necklace with a red poppy attached.

The first male is described as approximately 16 to 18 years old, approximately 5’8” tall wearing a dark coloured zip up jacket and blue gloves. The second male is described as approximately 16 to 18 years old, wearing dark clothing and pink/red gloves. The third male is described as approximately 16 to 18 years old and wearing dark clothing.
