Police appeals

Police in Foyle are appealing for information in relation to the following incidents.

A man in his 20s was knocked unconscious following an assault outside a nightclub on Strand Road between 2.30am and 3am on May 29. He was treated in hospital for a wound to the inside of his mouth.

Officers want to identify a group of youths who were reported to have shouted racial abuse at two teenage boys in the Herron Way/Shearwater Way area around 10pm on June 3rd. The boys got into a scuffle however no serious injuries were reported.

An attempt was made to steal two cars in the Aberfoyle Crescent and Rock Road areas around 4am on June 4. Officers want to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity around a purple/blue Vauxhall Corsa and a red Renault Clio.

Police are seeking to identify a man who was verbally abusive to a group involved in a sponsored walk in the city on Saturday, June 11. The group were walking along the Foyle Road Car Park beside the Craigavon Bridge around 5pm when a man began shouting at them and then threw a can of beer. He is described as being approximately 40 years of age, and of a medium build with short grey hair. He was wearing a black top and was untidy in appearance.
