Police discovered drugs in house with two unconscious men

Two unconscious males and drugs were found when police went to an address in Lurgan, Craigavon Magistrates Court heard last Wednesday.

One of the men, Scott Mayne (24), Hill Street, Gilford, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and Diazepam on September 13 last year.

The case was listed last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court and he did not appear so it went ahead in his absence.

A prosecutor said that at 10pm police received a report of two unconscious males at Russell Drive in Lurgan.

Inside the property they found cannabis, herbal cannabis and a number of pills.

When interviewed later Mayne admitted possession of both class B and class C drugs.

Convicting the defendant District Judge Amanda Brady said he had a relevant record and issued an arrest warrant to have Mayne brought to court for sentencing.
