Police hunt after car is marked

Police are hunting the person who used a black marker on a vehicle in Waringstown.

A vehicle in Primary Walk was damaged when someone went along both sides of it with a black marker pen sometime between March 26-27.

“Fortunately, the pen has been removed quickly meaning no permanent damage was caused, but this could have led to hundreds of pounds to repair if the marker couldn’t have been removed,” said a spokesperson.

Police have issued an alert for information and witnesses.

“If you have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area then please contact police in Lurgan on our new non-emergency number 101,” said a spokesperson
