Police investigate after horses ‘go missing’ from Ballyclare field

Police are appealing for information after receiving a report that two horses have gone missing from a field in the Claughlin Lane area of Ballyclare.

It is understood the animals went missing sometime between Monday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 8.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact 101, quoting reference number 1856 of 08/07/20.

“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100 per cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
