Police investigate attempted burglary in Mallusk

Police have launched an appeal for information following an attempted burglary in the Cottonmount Drive area of Mallusk at the weekend.

Detailing the incident, which occurred on Saturday, November 21, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Shortly before 10.50pm, it was reported that two men were in the area and attempted to gain entry to a property and a car parked nearby.

“Both men then made off towards the Sealstown Road area following the incident.

“One of the men is described as wearing a white baseball cap, a black fleece, dark jeans, boots and gloves.

“The second man is described as a red/orange coloured jumper, black trousers, black boots and gloves.”

Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101, quoting reference number 1954 21/11/20.
