Police investigate Ballyclare criminal damage

Police are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage at commercial premises in the Doagh Road area of Ballyclare on Friday, June 26.

At around 8pm, it was reported that damage was caused to the glass front automatic door at a shop in the area.

Urging anyone with information to contact police, a PSNI spokesperson said: “It was reported that a tree stump may have been thrown at the door during the incident, which caused the damage.

“It is believed that a number of youths were in the area at the time of the incident, who might be able to assist with our enquiries.

“Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident to contact police on 101, quoting reference 2260 26/06/20.
