Police launch appeal after digger stolen in Ballyclare

Police are investigating after a digger was stolen from a building site in the Templepatrick Road area of Ballyclare.

It is understood the orange Hitachi-Zaxis 30 digger with a grey coloured cab was stolen in the early hours of May 26, but details were only made public by officers yesterday evening (Sunday).

Appealing for information, a PSNI spokesperson said: “If anyone has any information relating to any suspicious activity around the site, or about any sightings or knowledge of this vehicle’s whereabouts, please contact police in Newtownabbey on 101 and quote reference number 304 26/05/20.”
