Police make two arrests after men discovered with drugs in Lisburn
On Wednesday (July 7) CCTV operators from Lisburn CitywatchNI spotted two males acting suspiciously and guided in police colleagues from Lisburn City Neighbourhood Team who, to their shock, located one of the males hunched over some tinfoil to heat up suspected Class A controlled drugs.
Both were promptly detained and searched and suspected Class C controlled drugs were located.
This male was arrested for both offences and his companion was taken back to the station for a further thorough search and further Class C drug located.
A spokesperson for the Lisburn City Neighbourhood Team said: “Through collaborative working we have taken more drugs off the street and the offenders will have their day in court.”
